12th Annual Armchair Traveler Series: School Days

In Celebration of Chowan County's 350th Anniversary, the 12th Annual Armchair Traveler Series will highlight significant areas of Chowan's Heritage.

Armchair Traveler Series: School Days: Chowan Schools' History and Buildings

Repurposed buildings, civil and important issues. Learn of the local schools' beginnings and an overview of the school system's history. Rob Jackson, Superintendent of the Edenton-Chowan Schools will present. 5:30-6:30pm, Shepard-Pruden Memorial Library, Second Floor Meeting Room. Free Program

The Garden of Eden Club Holiday Luncheon

Christmas Tree Lighting and Flotilla

Kick off the joyous holiday season with a wonderful annual event in Historic Downtown Edenton to include Tree Lighting at 5:30 pm and a wonderful Flotilla of boats along the Harbor at 6 pm. Local Children's Choirs perform with musical delights as everyone awaits that very, very special visit from that Jolly Old Man, Himself - Santa!

This event is sponsored by Destination Downtown Edenton.
