Christmas Tree Lighting and Flotilla

Kick off the joyous holiday season with a wonderful annual event in Historic Downtown Edenton to include Tree Lighting at 5:30 pm and a wonderful Flotilla of boats along the Harbor at 6 pm. Local Children's Choirs perform with musical delights as everyone awaits that very, very special visit from that Jolly Old Man, Himself - Santa!

This event is sponsored by Destination Downtown Edenton.

This exhibit by the Museum of the Albemarle highlights the centuries old history of one of the world's favorite beverages. Across the globe, tea is consumed second only to water.

This exhibit will run through the month of November and is free and open to the public at the Historic Edenton State Historic Site Visitor Center Tues - Sat 9 am - 5 pm.
