Harry Rosenblatt Memorial Speakers' Series

"Leopold Unger the artist and his paintings"

Speakers: Beth Taylor is the Regent for the local chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution. Sambo Dixon is an attorney in Edenton. He is on numerous boards of organizations that help to preserve our history. A few of them are the National Trust for Historic Preservation, National Trust Council, Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts, and North Carolina Historical Commission.

Women's History Trolley Tours

In honor of Women's History Month, this special trolley tour will share the history of Edenton with an emphasis on the women who lived and impacted the town and beyond. Hear about the courageous women of the 1774 Edenton Tea Party, the story of escaped slave Harriet Jacobs who shared her experiences with the world, and the many other voices of Edenton women who all played their parts in history. Tours depart from Historic Edenton Visitor Center.
