In Celebration of Chowan County's 350th Anniversary, Edenton Chowan School Students will experience how fields were cultivated and planted years ago. This same "Step Back in Time" demonstration will take place on Saturday for the public.
The NC Workhorse and Mule Association will be with us to demonstrate.
East Coast Equipment will have tractors on display from the very early years right up to now for everyone to see.

Judge Terrance W. Boyle will launch the series. He served as the chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina from October 1997 to October 2004. The title of his presentation is "Edenton and the Formation of the American Republic".

In celebration of Chowan County's 350th Anniversary, the Chowan Arts Council is pleased to announce that Artist, Teacher Susan Birkhead and her daughter, Ashlee will have their artwork on display in the gallery throughout the month of March.

In cooperation with Unanimity Masonic Lodge, 215 E Water Street, "Breakfast with the Easter Bunny", including pancakes, sausage, milk and orange juice from 8 am - 9 am at the lodge.
Following breakfast, an Easter egg Drop/hunt will take place on the 1767 Courthouse Green. Special sections will be designated for children ages 2-4, 5-8, and 8 & up to retrieve candy filled eggs. The egg hunt will be from 9:30 - 10:30 am. The Easter Bunny will be on the Green for free photo opportunities. Children's crafts and games will be offered and Spring chicks and Easter ducklings will also be on display.
Tickets: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny $2/person; Easter Drop, crafts & games $2/child; Hay Ride $2/child and all 3 activities as a package $5/child - $2/adult.
