Shrimp by the Bay Express


This  event includes Shrimp and all its fixings, and an on-line Auction.  It is sponsored by the Edenton Chowan Chamber of Commerce.

11 am - 2 pm - Scout Hut (10 or more can be delivered to one location at lunch only)  and 4 - 7 pm Downtown Colonial Park for the Shrimp Plate Sales - $14.00 each - call to reserve


Music by Justin Holland will take place during the evening from 4 - 7 pm by the Lighthouse, bring your chairs, socially distance and enjoy!

Colonial Tennis Tournament

One of the longest running tennis tournaments in the state will take place on the John A. Holmes Courts and is hosted by the Chowan Tennis Association.  Youth, Women and Men's Single Division offered, as well as open and mixed doubles for men and women.

Registration forms available at the Edenton Chowan Recreation Dept.  
Deadline is 5 pm Monday, Oct. 5.  Draws will be published on Wednesday, Oct 7. 
Registration Fee $40 for singles and $20 per player for doubles, with a maximum of two events per person

COVID-19 precautions and guidelines will be followed

45th Annual Peanut Festival

Craft Vendors and BBQ/Fried Chicken Plates will be set up on the John A Holmes Campus.   Crafters looking to become involved, please contact  snixon@ecps.k12.nc.us.  Plate sales available 11 - 2 and 4 - 7 pm and advanced tickets can be purchased from CMS and JAH Band Members.
