Historic Trolley Tours

Board the Trolley at the Penelope Barker House Welcome Center every day for tours except Tuesdays.  A wonderful overview of Edenton's history right up to what we are like today.  You can call ahead for tickets 252-482-7800.

Weekends in November, 2020

Edenton Bay Cruises

Board the LIBER-TEA with Captain Mark for a Historic Maritime Cruise along Edenton Bay!  These tours will take place on weekends only through November weather depending. The Tours depart from the foot of South Broad Street across from the Penelope Barker House Welcome Center.

Tuesday - Saturdays, November, 2020

Historic Edenton Walking Tours

Historic Edenton State Historic Site is featuring 10 am and 2 pm walking tours highlighting the history that has taken place in the buildings along with the important people that have made a difference in this community from its beginnings.  These tours depart from the Historic Edenton Visitor Center at 108 North Broad Street.

Historic Old Jail Tours

The Edenton Historical Commission is offering 30 minute tours of the Old Jail on Saturdays only through November.  An overview of the Old Jailer's House, Stocks and inside the Jail.  Tickets can be purchased at the Penelope Barker House Welcome Center and tours will leave from there. 6 Participants per tour and mask wearing is required.
