James Iredell House Site

Historic Edenton State Historic Site and Friends of State Historic Sites Edenton will be hosting Whole Family Activities on the property of the James Iredell Site.

Living History Demonstrations will be set up.  The Bandon Kitchen will be open, in addition to Schoolhouse, Smokehouse, the 1756 Dependency, and the Necessary.

Friends of Historic Sites Historic Edenton will have Terra Cia Paper Whites and Amaryllis for sale. 

This event is without charge and open to the public. 105 E. Church Street.

39th Annual Christmas Candlelight Tour -
                                                  The 2020 Non-Traditional Tour!

Enjoy Christmas Celebrations with everyone's health and safety in mind. The plans are in place for both  a "Virtual Tour" with 18 homes and a Showcase of Holiday Décor with design ideas to inspire, delight and intrigue inside the 1790 - Littlejohn- Byrum home along with all the other weekend activities that will  accompany the tour making the weekend virtual and in-person visit - a holiday wonder.

Showcase ticket good for both days Pre-purchase $15; children under 12 free

Box lunches can be reserved and purchased days of the tour $10 and enjoyed at The Venue on Water Street as you view the virtual tour on the big screen.

This tour is sponsored by the Edenton Historical Commission with tour headquarters at the Penelope Barker House Welcome Center.
