309 BISTRO & SPIRITS

Located in the heart of downtown Edenton, this hot spot serves an array of à la carte dishes ranging from steaks, chicken, pastas, and seafood.  Executive Chef Jennifer Yokley, locals and visitors alike are fond of the friendly service and carefully-prepared dishes. The local seafood, american cuisine, and full bar make it an Edenton staple for lunch and dinner.

BLOUNT’S MUTUAL DRUGS

This neighborhood pharmacy is known and loved for its circa 1920 old-fashioned soda fountain serving hand-dipped ice cream and freshly squeezed orangeade/lemonade.

CORNER BAKING CO.

A family-owned, southern bakery specializing in handmade pastries and desserts. Their signature chocolate-chip cookies and oatmeal cookies are an everyday staple, but daily selection of baked goods can be found on their Facebook page.

Known locally as “Malcolm’s,”
this is “one of the must see places in Edenton,” according to Southern Living. EDENTON COFFEEHOUSE BAKERY & CAFÉ

The Edenton Coffee House is a friendly family-run business with a faithful local clientele. Serving locally-roasted coffee, fresh baked goodies, and homestyle lunch, it has become a gathering place and downtown staple for visitors and locals alike.

FAMOUS SUBS

For three decades, Famous Subs has been a cherished staple in Edenton, delighting patrons with its delectable array of sandwiches, pasta, chicken, and salads. GOVERNORS PUB

Known as “Edenton’s living room,” Governor’s Pub is a friendly neighborhood joint where out-of-towners quickly feel like locals. Inner Banks Barbeque has “something different” for everyone! Early morning risers can catch an amazing breakfast menu of omelets, avocado toast, and more. Latest on Edenton’s culinary scene, La Mesa Mexican restaurant & bar opens its doors. This charming spot marries authentic Mexican cuisine with a lively bar scene, delivering a feast of flavors to the town. Conveniently located near the Edenton Steamers stadium on N. Broad Street, it’s the perfect destination to savor zesty tacos, delectable burritos, and hand-crafted margaritas.

LEON NIXON CATERING

Only on Thursdays & Sundays, this catering company opens to the public for a home-style southern buffet. A favorite among locals and a hidden gem for tourists, the bountiful spread offers an array of options to satisfy everyone in your group. The family-owned & operated team serves the best of Eastern North Carolina BBQ, fried chicken, and fresh seafood.

You’re bound to work up an appetite after a great game of golf at our local country club, the Links at Mulberry Hill. Beyond its waterfront setting, this delightful restaurant offers fantastic burgers, sandwiches, salads, hot dogs, wings, nachos, and much more to help you refuel after your exciting day of golf.

OLD COLONY SMOKEHOUSE

This local hotspot keeps southern culinary traditions alive with its old-school meat market dynamic and family-style cooking. Champion of Food Network’s renowned “Chopped” series, award-winning pitmaster Adam Hughes preaches the gospel of Southern Culinary Revival, smoking meat over hard wood coals right outside the restaurant. Lunch is available from 11 a.m. until sell out. If you miss lunch, head over to their downtown market for ready-made meals and goodies. 

SHUNXING

For a quick lunch or dinner, Shun Xing offers a delightful array of traditional Szechuan, Hunan & Cantonese take-out dishes, featuring everything from fried rice and lo mein to savory soups and aromatic curries.
