Links at Mulberry Hill
This is Edenton’s premier golf destination and a favorite golf spot for locals. This semi-private course, located right on the Albemarle Sound, has been around since 1962.
An Ellis Maples course, The Links at Mulberry Hill takes you through southern pines, over wetlands, and around ponds. You get views of the Albemarle Sound, the Mulberry Hill Inn, and more.
Members get access to a saltwater pool and enjoy a vibrant social scene to round out the golf experience and make membership even more useful if you have a family.

Occano in Merry Hill
Occano is another gorgeous course set just up the road on the Albemarle Sound. An Arnold Palmer signature course, Occano offers five sets of tees giving each golfer a bit more customizability for their experience.
This gorgeous course that lets you tee off from the banks of the sound, taking in stunning views of the water that shapes so much of life around here.

Cypress Landing Golf Course
Just about an hour from Edenton, Cypress Landing is a 4-star rated course from Golf Digest and is well-known by golfers throughout the area.
Located on the Pamlico river, overlooking the Chocowinity Bay, this course is tucked into the trees, providing a different experience than the more open-air courses closer to Edenton.

Beechwood Country Club
In nearby Ahoskie, North Carolina, Beachwood Country Club features an older style course on the front-nine with a newer style course on the back.
Updated facilities and a new driving range were also added to enhance the experience.
Albemarle Plantation
Designed by Dan Maples, this course just up the road from Edenton has been around for 30 years and offers yet another Albemarle Sound experience.
The three finishing holes are particularly impressive, bringing you right up to the water that frames your entire experience.
