We are one month away from Edenton’s 2nd annual Kick-off to Christmas.
Last year, we tried something new, and it was a smashing success.
The entire town came out, men, women, boys, and girls, to start Edenton’s magical Christmas season in style.
This year, it will be an even bigger and more exciting event that takes place from 4-7 PM on December 3.
Food trucks from Edenton and beyond will be gathering downtown at Colonial Park. Local favorites like Old Colony Smokehouse, Kiias Way, the Edenton Steamers, and more will be joined by all kinds of local venders. There's something for everyone.
Arts and crafts with the Shepard-Pruden Memorial Library. This is a BYOB (blanket!) event featuring stories and crafts fit for the season.
Colonial Park will be packed with all kinds of things to do once you are done eating and listening to a Christmas story, including face painting, inflatables, cookie decorating, cotton candy, hot cocoa, mini donuts, and more.
Beginning at 4:30 PM
Our famous Edenton Trolley is once again transforming into the winter express, giving delightful Christmas-themed tours on both Saturday and Sunday.

One of the defining events of Edenton’s Christmas season is the Flotilla.
Boats line up, covered in Christmas decorations, and compete in a good-natured competition to see who has the most Christmas spirit.
Then, once the sun goes down, Edenton’s Flotilla Boat Parade kicks off at 6:15.
Edenton’s Kick-off to Christmas is quickly becoming a beloved Edenton event.
Last year was a day that created unforgettable memories.
We are expecting it to be even bigger in 2022.
So, please put it on your calendar, get your reservation for the Winter Express, and make sure you join us for the Kick-off to Christmas!
