The countdown to Christmas has begun!
Last year, we kicked off the Christmas season in Edenton with the first-ever Kick-off to Christmas.
The entire town gathered for food, games, rides, storytime at the Cupola house, the Edenton tree lighting, Santa’s arrival, and the flotilla.
It was a huge success!
But that was just the beginning of the holiday season!
Edenton hosted the 40th annual Christmas Candlelight tour.
The Christmas Candlelight Tour is one of the biggest events of the year and brings people from all around the region to Edenton.
This weekend is one of the only times of the year you can tour many of the beautiful historic homes that give such character to Edenton’s historic district. Every year, this tour features new and interesting places to visit.
You can tour iconic Edenton homes that shaped the history of this town like:
- The Ice House
- The Dixon Powell House
- The William Pruden Sr. House
- The Sutton house
- St. Paul’s Episcopal Church
And more.
You can still get your ticket tomorrow by swinging by the Barker House.
Edenton will be full to bursting with people eager for their only chance of the year to see inside the magnificent homes that have housed generations of Edentonians.
